Your information is used solely to:
•Create your custom song and any selected add-ons
•Communicate with you regarding your order
•Deliver your final product
•Maintain internal records for legal and accounting purposes
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Use of Creative & AI Tools

All lyrics are written personally by a human lyricist.
AI-assisted tools may be used only for music production and vocal performance to bring the song to life.
Personal information is not used to train public AI models and is not shared beyond what is necessary to complete your order.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. Access to your data is limited to what is required to fulfil your order.

1. Purpose
This policy explains how custom songs created by Jae Rae Collective may be used.All songs are created as personal, private-use gifts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Personal Use License

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your song for personal purposes, including:
•Gifting to a loved one
•Playing at private events
•Sharing privately with friends and family
•Posting on personal social media accounts
3. Usage Restrictions
Without written permission, you may not:
•Sell or commercially distribute the song
•Use the song in paid advertising or promotions•Claim authorship of the lyrics
•Register the song with performance rights organizations•License or resell the song to third parties
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
•Lyrics remain the intellectual property of Hjordes Bester / Jae Rae Collective
•Music production and vocals are licensed for personal use only

Public credit to Jae Rae Collective is appreciated but not required.

5. Confidentiality

All personal stories, memories, and information shared are treated as confidential and will never be shared publicly without your consent.

6. Portfolio Use
We may request permission to feature excerpts of a song for portfolio or promotional use. Granting permission is optional and never required.

Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before work begins on your custom song. Payments may be made via EFT, PayStack, credit card, or debit card.
All prices are listed in South African Rands (ZAR) and are inclusive of the agreed creative services.Work will commence once payment and all required information have been received.
2. Delivery Timeline
Standard delivery is 7–14 business days from receipt of full payment and all required information.
Rush delivery (3–5 business days) may be available for an additional fee and is subject to availability.
Delivery timelines may vary during peak seasons or due to factors outside our control.
3. Revisions Policy
Each package includes a limited number of revisions as specified at the time of purchase.
Additional revisions beyond the included amount will be charged at R450 per revision. Major changes to the original song concept after work has begun (such as a new storyline or recipient) may incur additional fees.
4. Video Add-Ons
Video add-ons are delivered within 5–7 business days after final audio approval.
Available add-ons:
•Lyric Video — R350
•Photo Slideshow — R350
•Lyric Video + Photo Slideshow Bundle — R650
Photo upload limits:
•Sweet Melody: 5–10 photos
•Heartfelt Harmony: 10–15 photos
•Epic Anthem: 15–30 photos
5. Copyright & Usage
Upon full payment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your custom song.
Permitted use includes:
•Private events
•Personal sharing with friends and family
•Posting on personal social media accountsCommercial use, resale, or monetisation requires a separate written licensing agreement.Lyrics remain the intellectual property of Jae Rae Collective / Hjordes Bester.
6. Refund Policy
Payments are non-refundable once work has begun. If you are unsatisfied with the final product, we will work with you through the included revision process.Refunds will only be considered if we are unable to deliver the agreed-upon product.
7. Content Guidelines
We reserve the right to decline requests that include content which is:
•Offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory
•Inaccurate or misleading
•Infringing on third-party rightsAll information provided must be truthful and lawful.
8. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
•Providing accurate and complete information
•Responding to queries and feedback requests in a timely manner
Delays in communication may impact delivery timelines.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jae Rae Collective shall not be held liable for emotional interpretations or subjective preferences once the agreed creative scope has been fulfilled.
10. Changes to Terms
Jae Rae Collective reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
